It is with deep sadness that the family of Evelyn Joan powder announces her passing on Sunday, April 5, 2026 at the age of 60 years. Evelyn is survived by her son, Daniel Powder- Berard and her sister, Cherilyn Boucher. She will be lovingly remembered by her family- nieces, Tamara Taylor, Tiarrah Boucher, Tashina McKay, Kaydence Morningchild, Illiyana, and Denayah Badger; nephews, Damien Boucher, Dezmond Morningchild, and Grayson Badger; aunts, Sharon Anderson, and Bernice Powder; uncles, Faron Powder and Ken Powder; as well as numerous extended relatives and friends.

Evelyn was predeceased by her daughter, Tanya Boudreau; parents, Ella Boucher and Reginald “Reggie” Boucher; siblings, Genevieve, Tanya, John, Aaron Powder; half-sister, Mavis; nieces, Monica Boucher- McKay, and Sheila Whitstone; nephew, Aaron Jr Whitstone; maternal cousins, Stephanie Dumais, Orville Powder, Ervine Powder, and Kirk powder; maternal uncles, Buddy, Lyle, and Ivan; maternal aunts, Emiline, Linda, Darlene, and Edna.

Evelyn’s family wishes to express their sincere gratitude to the Edmonton General Hospital Continuing Care Center for their kindness, support, and care provided to Evelyn during her time in their care.
