Dec 22, 1953 – January 11, 2023

Debrah Maryann Belitsky, age 69 years, passed away the morning of Wednesday, January 11, 2023 at the University Hospital in Edmonton, Alberta, after a long struggle with health issues.

Deb was survived by sisters, Linda (Mel) Warner and Sharon Belitsky; brother, Jeff (Krystal) Belitsky; nieces, Hillary (Kevin) Yaremchuck and Katie Belitsky; nephews, Dana Belitsky and David Seibert; and great nephew, Jackson Hunt- Seibert.

Deb was predeceased by her parents, Murray & Kay (nee Demchuk) Belitsky and sister, Gwen Belitsky.

Deb was born in small town Canora, Saskatchewan, the first child of Murray & Kay Belitsky. She lived on the farm for a short time before moving to Edmonton, Alberta where she lived her entire life. Deb spent several years with Henry Singer Clothing and recently retired from EPCOR Water Services. She enjoyed travel, especially her many trips to to Puerto Vallarta with family. Family and friends gatherings were most important to her. She was not a lover of dogs, but if there was a dog around, you could bet they would always go to Deb for a pet or a treat. Deb had a love for flowers, whether caring for summer pots or fresh cut flowers, she always had flowers around her. So no doubt she will be enjoying endless blooms in heaven.

Many thanks to the teams of Nurses, Doctors and staff at the University of Alberta Hospital for the care they provided Deb.

On behalf of our family, thank you all for your prayers during her time of illness.
