On Sunday, July 11, 2021 Arthur “Art” Joseph Lucien Dominique Lavoie passed away at the age of 59 years. Art is survived by his loving wife, Myra; daughter, Amor; step-son, Keith; his mother, Therese Lavoie; 6 brothers, Andre (Tina), Paul (D.R.), Francois (Mile), Bernard (Sharon), Dominique and Antoine; 3 sisters, Maria (Lorrie) Paproski, Lucie (Bruce) Paproski and Angele (Pat) Caruso; his caregivers, Levie, Imelda and Minda; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Art was predeceased by his father, Xavier Lavoie and brothers, Jean-Louis and Alphonse.

He will be remembered in our hearts forever

When someone you love becomes a memory, the memory becomes a treasure.

Suddenly, Lynne slipped away, leaving family and friends to mourn her loss. Lynne will be forever loved and missed by her son, Jeremy; grandson, Nixon; her mother, Judy; sister, Denise; brothers, Ronan and Aaron; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Lynne was predeceased by her father, Kenneth “Ken” Masse in 2015. Cremation has taken place.

In Loving Memory of Carol Elizabeth Pellerin, who passed away Wednesday, April 21, 2021 at the age of 64 years. Carol was born in Windsor, Ontario on November 20, 1956 to her parents, Florence and Lawrence Coleman.

She is survived by her husband, Chris Pellerin; her 3 children, Kyla (Neal) Sorensen and their children, Laura and Caleb, Sean (Alicia) Perin their daughter Makayla, and Ryan (Jessica) Perin and their children, Rory and Cole. She will also be remembered by her brothers and sisters, Ann Ashton, Sandy (Leo) Bruseker , Greg (Terri) Coleman and Larry (Diane) Coleman; as well as numerous extended family and friends.

Ernest “Ernie” Peter Sywolos
November 27, 1962 ~ April 18, 2021

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Ernie Sywolos at the age of 58 years following a brief battle with Covid-19. He will be forever remembered by Wendy and their son Justin, who was Ernie's pride and joy. He is also survived by his sisters, Louise (George), Patsy (Dennis), and Sherill (Willie), along with many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. He will be dearly missed by his extended family, special friend, coworkers, friends, and all who knew and loved him.

Ernie was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Helen; his sister, Bonnie; his brother, Larry: and his nephew, Shawn.

Ernie was born on November 27, 1962 in Smoky Lake, Alberta to Peter and Helen and lived in Waskatenau until he made the move to Edmonton. Once settled he made Edmonton his home and maintained employment with Canada Post for 31 years. In addition he also provided lawn care and snow removal for seniors.

Ernie was a dedicated father who shared a remarkable bond with his son Justin that remained unbreakable from the day he was born. When together they found a way to enjoy anything they were working on, because they were doing it together. They spent as much time together as they could enjoying their shared interests such as: skiing, playing ball, watching Oilers games together, seeing movies, playing golf online, or just talking about Justin's studies and plans for the future. Ernie was Justin's biggest fan attending every one of Justin's hockey and baseball games.

Ernie was the hardest worker many of us knew, not stopping until a job was done. Once a job was completed he moved right to the next task without complaint. Teaching himself over the years to do pretty much anything – because of his ever curious mind, if he didn't know how to do something he would learn how. He taught himself how to fix and maintain vehicles, his vehicle always looked like it was fresh off the lot. He was a fantastic cook and known throughout his community for his famous lazy cabbage rolls and chicken soup (with homemade noodles, of course). When he finally got his iphone, Siri quickly became his new best friend. He kept a busy schedule, however when he did find a rare moment of down time, he would often spend it at the family farm.

Ernie was a kind, compassionate and caring man who never hesitated to help others expecting nothing in return. He was a dependable friend who will be remembered as a kind hearted jokester with a radiant smile, lighting up any room he walked into with his charisma and humour. He made friends everywhere he went because he genuinely enjoyed getting to know others through conversation, anyone was lucky to have met Ernie. If you met him even just once, you will never forget him. He has left his mark on our world with his bubbly personality and endless reserve of kindness.

He will be forever in our hearts, until we meet again.

Celebration of Life

Cremation has taken place and there will be no public service due to ongoing public health restrictions.
